- Lead the system engineering process for advanced sonar, underwater sensors, and acoustic processing systems
- Analyze operational requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications (System Requirements / System Specification)
- Define system architecture, allocate subsystems, and manage interdisciplinary interfaces (mechanical, electrical, software, communications, DSP)
- Plan and oversee integration and verification processes (IV&V), including sea trials and field tests
- Perform system performance analyses in underwater acoustics, detection range, SNR, signal processing, and target tracking
- Collaborate with customers, subcontractors, and internal engineering teams
- Manage configuration control, lead system-level investigations and failure analyses

We are seeking a highly motivated System Engineer to join our Underwater Sonar and Acoustic Sensing Systems team reporting to chief architect. The role involves full system ownership throughout the product lifecycle – from requirements definition and system design to integration, testing, and delivery to the customer.

- B.Sc. in Electrical / Electronics / Physics / Aerospace / Systems Engineering (M.Sc. – advantage)
- +7 years of experience in R&D, at least 3 years as a system engineer – preferably in sonar, radar, or advanced sensing domains.
- Strong background or understanding in underwater acoustics, signal processing, or real-time systems – advantage
- Proven experience in writing and managing system documents (SRS, ICD, CONOPS)
- Strong analytical and system-level thinking skills
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English (spoken and written)
